March Morpho Butterfly madness

March madness isn't just about basketball. The butterfly house will be introducing a bunch of blue morphos to their building March 1st - 31st. Check it out. If you never been to the butterflyhouse it's pretty cool. Regardless of the weather leave your coat in the car as the temps inside are tropical, like so many of our fishrooms. Wear a bright colored shirt and you might have a butterfly land on you. Ditto for hats. They are a real challenge to shoot for photography but you'll have a lot of fun trying. A long lens with image stability is probably the best way to go. Earlier in the day they are probably going to be easier to shoot. I always end up there in the afternoon when they are in fighter pilot mode.

Open 9 am to 5 pm daily.

Thanks for the info Gary. I've actually been wanting to visit the butterfly house; I've never been. Hopefully I can check it out when I'm in town for the next meeting.
