Breeder's Challenge

Well the new totals are in and Mike is heading the challenge. However I find this month to be a very good month for both breeders. This month Ted has gone to the catfish side of cory cats, Ted has manage to spawn the Weitzmani cory. I find this to be a great spawn and a hard to get cory as well. Nice job Ted keep up the good work. Mike also had two great spawns as well, with the Akysis sp. and Goodea garcilis( Mike you can thank me later for those Goodea. ). As you know some of the stuff that Mike and Ted are breeding is a part of the CARES program. We need to thank these guy's for not only doing store bought fish but also finding species that are endanager in the wild. NICE JOB! Lets see what next month will bring in.

If it weren't for all of the MASI folks (and folks at Tropical World Pets, Pet Market Place, Columbia Pet Center, and Aquaworld) who loaned or sold me pairs or breeding groups this would not have been possible! This was a win for all of MASI.

Mike Wins!! Congratulations. When Mike and I started this project we both thought that the winner would end up with 60 or so spawns. Mike recorded 169!!
